Perfect day (three days in fact) in San Francisco

A friend of mine from The Fletcher School has recently created a (very interesting) map for those of you who are interested in visiting San Francisco and spending just a few dollars - check it out.

By Trevor:

All assuming you start downtown, all MUNI or walking, and are all-day kinds of things.

Red Tour starts on the N Judah at either Cole Valley or 9th and Irving. Includes Golden Gate Park, the Haight Ashbury, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Legion of Honor, and Ocean Beach.
The Red tour can easily be done in reverse starting at the beach.

The Blue tour starts on Market street and includes MUNI as well as cable car rides. The Blue tour includes the MOMA, Union Square, cable car ride, Chinatown, North Beach, Coit Tower, the waterfront, the Castro, Mission Dolores, and the Mission district.

The Pink tour can start on MUNI but also is entirely walkable. The Pink tour includes the Asia Art Museum, civic center and city hall, Hayes Valley, Alamo Square (the Full House houses), the Fillmore, Japantown, and ending on Polk Street.http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=201735259995064705494.0004977b0a618372bb1a4&t=h&z=12
